A superb quality antique Edwardian 18ct gold and graduated opal five stone ring, the central oval cabochon opal flanked by four smaller opals within a claw set solid 18ct gold mount.
The opals are well matched and each show magnificent play-of-colour with flashes of blues, greens, yellows and the highly desirable red.
A wonderful antique ring in excellent condition.
Fully hallmarked to the inside of the band for 18ct gold with assay marks for Chester 1906, the makers mark is partly rubbed.
