Refund policy

At Ellibelle Jewellery, we stand behind every item we sell and want you to feel completely confident in your purchase.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your jewellery, you may return your item to us within 14 days of receipt, provided it meets the conditions set out below.

UK Returns

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item to let us know that you wish to make a return.

Items should be returned using Royal Mail Special Delivery or another tracked and fully insured service. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund for any item that is lost or damaged in transit when returned using an uninsured or non-recorded delivery service.

All items must be returned unworn, unaltered and in the same condition in which they were originally shipped, including any original packaging and documentation.

Once a ring has been resized or altered, it is no longer eligible for return. This also applies to rings that we have resized on your behalf before shipping.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

International Returns

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item to let us know that you wish to make a return.

We strongly recommend returning international orders using DHL Express International or another tracked and fully insured courier service, as we are not responsible for items that do not reach us.

Please clearly mark the package as “UK RETURNED GOODS” to help avoid unnecessary customs delays or charges. Any import fees, customs charges or taxes incurred by Ellibelle Jewellery due to incorrect labelling will be deducted from the customer’s refund.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

US Returns

For orders shipped to the United States, Ellibelle Jewellery pays the main international import tariffs and duties on your behalf.

If you return an item from the United States, your refund will be issued minus the import tariff and duty costs paid by us on your behalf. These charges are not returned to us when an item is returned.

The following deductions apply to US returns:

Antique jewellery over 100 years old: 10% deduction
Vintage and modern jewellery under 100 years old: 15.5% deduction

Please note that any additional state-level taxes, local charges, courier fees or customs-related charges paid by the customer are also non-refundable, as these are set by the relevant authority or courier and are outside our control.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty:

Rings that have been resized, altered or specially adjusted
Rings resized by us on your behalf before shipping
Items purchased via payment plans
Digital Insurance Valuations once processed

Once processed, Digital Insurance Valuations are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total refund amount where applicable.

Items purchased via payment plans are not eligible for return. Please read the full terms and conditions about payment plans for further information.

Condition of Jewellery

All of our jewellery is carefully checked by a professional goldsmith before being listed on our website.

We are not responsible for the loss of gemstones or any damage that may occur after purchase due to wear, impact or accidental damage. However, if an issue does arise, please do get in touch and we will always do our best to help arrange a repair or replacement where possible.

Please note that we do not offer compensation for repairs or work carried out by third parties.

Refund Processing

Returns or credits will be processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned item.

For orders placed outside the UK and EU, refunds will be issued less any unrecoverable payment processing and/or currency conversion fees charged by our payment providers. These fees are not returned to us and therefore cannot be reclaimed.

Alternatively, customers may choose to receive the full eligible order value as store credit, which avoids deductions for unrecoverable payment processing and/or currency conversion fees.
