A Pretty 1940s Ruby & Diamond Rose Gold Three-Stone Ring
Claw-set with two round-cut rubies centred by a sparkly white 0.10ct transitional cut diamond, to a 9ct gold tapered band.
Transitional cut diamonds are most often seen in jewellery from the 1930s to the 1940s.
Hallmarked to the inside of the band for 9ct gold, London 1949
The ring is in good ready to wear condition, with general wear in keeping with age, the claws have been later reinforced to keep the stones secure and the rubies show abrasions to the facet edges when viewed under 10x magnification
The ring face measures approx 5mm long, 12mm wide and 4mm deep
